Free sites from tripoutlook.com - Thumbs Down

It is easy to create a free travel subdomain from tripoutlook.com but I found the process somewhat confusing and was not entirely pleased with the end result. It can be see here travelseo.tripoutlook.com - that being said it only took a few minutes. It is unclear to me from the website what the commission structure. It also is clear that forms from ian.com have been directly inserted so one is left wondering if they have a deal with ian.com or if the commissions are simply reduced and tripoutlook is just acting as a middle man. The Alexa rank of tripoutlook is 426,000+ and this makes sense as it looks like the product is still in the development stage.

Hotelscombined.com Travel Affilate Program

Hotelscombined.com lets visitors compare hotel rates using a number of different booking engines. Affiliates make money when visitors click on the different hotels suggested by hotelscombined.com. The program operates on a CPL basis, and affiliates only earn commissions for each click (lead) that is sent to hotelscombined.com partners’ websites. While it may be easier to generate these clicks the payout from each would be lower than one would receive from an actual hotel booking.

While affiliates cant make money from actual hotel bookings the hotelscombined.com service is user friendly enough that one might see a fairly good conversion rate from clicks to leads so that one might want to consider running ads from this program rather than adsense.
